By downloading or using Vesper you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app. Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement also applies; where it conflicts with these terms, Apple's agreement wins.
Vesper is a personal journal for iPhone. Your entries are stored on your device and, with Vesper Plus, can sync through your own private iCloud database.
Your entries are yours. We claim no rights over them and have no access to them. You are responsible for what you store in the app and for keeping your own backups: we cannot recover an entry you delete or a journal lost with a device. You can export everything as plain text at any time from the app's settings.
When you finish setting up the app, every feature is open for seven days. This is not a subscription trial: no payment details are needed and nothing is charged when it ends.
After that, some features need Vesper Plus, a one-time in-app purchase that does not expire. It is not a subscription and never renews.
Purchases are processed by Apple. Refunds are handled by Apple under its own terms at reportaproblem.apple.com; we cannot issue them ourselves.
If you do not buy Vesper Plus, nothing you have written is removed or hidden. Writing and reading your entries stay free.
Do not use the app unlawfully, and do not try to reverse engineer, resell or redistribute it.
We may change, pause or stop the app or any of its features. We may update these terms; the current version is always on this page, with the date at the top. If you keep using the app after a change, you accept the new terms.
The app is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind, to the extent the law allows. We do not promise that it will always work, be free of errors, or never lose data. Nothing here limits rights you have under consumer law that cannot be excluded.
To the extent the law allows, our total liability for your use of the app is limited to what you paid for it in the twelve months before the claim.
